Yahia Lababidi is an Arab American poet and essayist of Palestinian descent, the author of sixteen books. His work appears in Liberties,Salmagundi,The Threepenny Review, The New Statesman,Sojourners,World Literature Today,The New Arab, and DAWN. It has reached audiences through NPR, PBS, ABC Radio National, and On Being, with translations into more than a dozen languages.
His recent and forthcoming books include Palestine Wail (Daraja Press, 2024), written in the first months of Israel’s assault on Gaza; What Remains to Be Said (Wild Goose Publications, 2025); and Wherever You Are: Essays from East to West (Ayin Press, 2027).
