They are presenting From the Center: Looking at Lucy Lippard, a major exhibition exploring the lasting influence of writer, critic, curator, and activist Lucy R. Lippard on contemporary art. Spanning three floors, the exhibition draws primarily from the MCA Collection to examine themes central to Lippard’s six-decade career, including feminism, Conceptual art, activism, and the relationship between art and politics. Featuring artists she championed alongside later generations inspired by her work, From the Center celebrates Lippard’s enduring impact on contemporary artistic practice.
