Lucy R. Lippard author of Stuff: Instead of a Memoir, will open a new exhibition called “Notes from the Radical Whirlwind” at the New Mexico Museum of Art, Vladem Contemporary. The exhibition, featuring a selection of artworks, artist’s books, posters, political button and activist ephemera, traces Lippard’s prolific career and contributions to the art world.

May 4, 2026 – Czech Release of ArtMill with author Barbara Benish in Prague, Czech Republic

A Czech translation of ArtMill: A Story of Sustainable Creativity in Bohemia by Barbara Benish is being published by ArtMap!
The book launch is being held at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Prague (Centrum pro současné umění Praha / CSU) on Monday, May 4th at 6PM. The full address is Dukelských hrdinů 500 / 25a, 170 00 Praha 7.

May 11, 2026 – English lecture/book talk for ArtMill with author Barbara Benish in Prague, Czech Republic

In conjunction with the Czech release of ArtMill, Barbara Benish will be speaking at the oldest English language bookstore in Prague, to present her book ArtMill: A Story of Sustainable Creativity in Bohemia.
The event will be in English on Monday, May 11th from 7PM. The Globe Bookstore and Cafe is located at Pštrossova 1925/6, Prague 1, Czech Republic.

May 20, 2026 – Book launch for Clare Cooper Marcus’ Groundbreaking at Mrs. Dalloway’s, Berkeley, CA

To celebrate the release of Groundbreaking: My Unmapped Path as an Academic, Mother, and Gardener by Clare Cooper Marcus, a special launch event honoring her life and legacy will be held at Mrs. Dalloway’s. Presenting her book will be Wendy Sarkissian, Lynne Elizabeth and her daughter Lucy Marcus.

June 22, 2026 – Claudia Bernardi to present new book and featured art in Richmond, VA

Claudia Bernardi will be presenting Art Against Brutality at Blacksburg Books, along with several of the art pieces featured in the book. A discussion of the themes of community & art in times of war will precede an audience Q&A. Signed books will be available.
