Don Krug

 

Portrait of Don KrugDon Krug (1957–2017) was a founding member and an organizer of the Ecoart Network, participating from its beginnings in 1999 until his death. Don facilitated the online platform for the Network, which was originally hosted by Ohio State University, where he taught from 1993 to 2002. He held associate faculty appointments with the Advanced Computing Center for Art and Design and the Center for Folklife Studies. In 2002, he joined the Department of Curriculum & Pedagogy, Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver. The depth of his knowledge and experience in ecology and the arts led to his appointment as a University Sustainability Fellow in 2012 where he taught until 2017.
