James Jiler is a writer, gardener, advocate, and co-founder of Urban Greenworks. He is the former Director of the GreenHouse Project, a renowned horticultural job-training program at Rikers Island, and former Director of community services for the Horticultural Society of New York.
James is an Adjunct Lecturer in Earth and Environmental at Florida International University’s College of Arts, Sciences & Education. He lives in Miami, Florida.
