Barbara Doherty is a journalist, editor, and organizer. She was a member of Alameda People for Peace during the Vietnam War and advocated for peace. 

Together with Ron Carver and David Cortright, she co-edited Waging Peace in Vietnam: US Soldiers and Veterans Who Opposed the War (New Village Press, 2019).
