Thru July 20: Robert Shetterly Exhibition Opening at the Albany Institute of History & Art, Albany, NY

Albany Institute of History & Art presents Americans Who Tell the Truth, an exhibition of over 40 portraits by Robert Shetterly. In conjunction, Albany Institute will host screenings of Truth Tellers, an award-winning documentary chronicling the lives of several individuals featured in Shetterly’s portraits. Additional educational programs, workshops, and events for school groups, families, and adults will be offered throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Shetterly’s most recent title is Portraits of Peacemakers.

Join us as we sell books and celebrate this year’s honorees at the Clara Lemlich Awards, which recognize unsung women activists whose lifelong work has led to lasting change. The awards honor the spirit of grassroots reform following the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire.
