Victoria Derr is an author, researcher, and artist exploring themes around green schools, critical pedagogy, and cultures of care. She is an Associate Professor at California State University Monterey Bay, where she focuses on environmental and community education through The Engagement Lab.
Recently, Derr has focused her research on environmental and child care in the U.S. and Latin America. Early in her career, she ran Crane Collaborations, an organization focused on community forestry and engagement in New Mexico. Derr is also a textile artist, and she resides in Seaside, CA.
