Tim Collins | Reiko Goto Collins

Portrait of Tim Collins and Reiko Goto CollinsTim Collins, PhD, is an artist, author, and planner in the Collins & Goto Studio. He works across disciplines to develop creative projects related to landscape, science, culture, and public space. He describes his work as socially and environmentally engaged research (SEER), incorporating collaboration, critical analysis, and deliberative future imaginaries.

Through her artistic practice, Reiko Goto Collins, PhD, explores the life of nature. By contemplating nature, the artist renews her own identity. Her research-informed practice is grounded in empathic relationships with living things. She continues an interest in the Caledonian pine forest and is developing a new experimental work in collaboration with the Darkness, a horse native to the Gaelic archipelago.
