Vanderbilt University presents ‘Changemakers of the Twenty-First Century,’ an exhibition of fifteen portraits from Rob Shetterly’s Americans Who Tell the Truth until April 17. This exhibit highlights Americans who have impacted the world in the past twenty-five years, illuminating how protest can take many different shapes and forms, from forging new legislation, to forming non-profits, to writing poetry.
Shetterly’s most recent title is Portraits of Peacemakers.

Feb. 2: Screening of Truth Tellers with Director Richard Kane

The Carrabassett Valley Public Library in Maine will host a screening of Truth Tellers, a film chronicling the lives of courageous Americans fighting for racial and indigenous rights and climate justice. The film tells the story of Maine artist Robert Shetterley’s art and activism. Director Richard Kane will be present for the screening.
